2022 Leadership Journey Project: Promoting Women Centered Research
I am a public health professional with over 17 years of experience in implementing and evaluating global health projects. My aim is to use innovative methods for designing, implementing and evaluating high impact interventions that focus on health system strengthening to improve service delivery for mothers and children globally. I have a strong record of capacity building, training and managing teams on monitoring and evaluation, leading evidence based decision making for public health programs and operationalizing project plans as well as developing tools and indicators to adequately monitor and evaluate these projects.
My technical experience includes improving service delivery of maternal and child health, family planning, and nutrition services, strengthening supply chain systems and building routine health information systems to improve the quality and use of data for decision making. In addition I have experience in conceptualizing and developing evaluations and measures with partners around Gender Equality. I have have worked across Asia and Africa in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Zambia.
