Kate Rademacher

Kate H. Rademacher is an innovative public health leader with twenty years of experience in family planning program design, management, and evaluation. She currently works in the Global Health, Population and Nutrition group at FHI 360 where she co-leads FHI 360’s family planning strategy and supports the development and introduction of new and underutilized contraceptives in low-resource settings. Ms. Rademacher serves as the project director for the Learning about Expanded Access and Potential (LEAP) Initiative which is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She also oversees a portfolio of activities under the USAID-funded Envision FP project focused on increasing contraceptive access in sub-Saharan Africa. In these roles, Ms. Rademacher excels at managing diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.

Ms. Rademacher has a demonstrated track record of developing strategic partnerships with stakeholders at both the global and country levels. Prior to joining FHI 360, Ms. Rademacher served as the Director of Development and Outreach and as Director of Adolescent Programs at The Women’s Center (now Compass Center) based in Chapel Hill, NC. Ms. Rademacher is a published author, and she serves on the Board of National Crittenton, a 135-year old organization that advances the empowerment of girls and young women.
