Netravathi M is the Professor of Dept of Neurology from NIMHANS, Bangalore, India. She has been involved in the field of Neurological sciences since 2001; initially as a resident and then as a faculty since 2008. She chose Neuroimmunology and Neuroinfections as her speciality services.
The work carried out by her in the field of Neuroimmunological services at the institute, national levels and in the research aspects include establishment of the Multiple sclerosis (MS) and NMO (neuromyelitis optica) clinic – that caters to the patients with this specific disorders exclusively for a comprehensive care, establishment of the National MS and allied demyelination registry at NIMHANS, and many other aspects.
She has actively worked towards maintaining the HIV registry data of NIMHANS under NACO since 2011, been a part of the Global COVID-19 Neuroresearch Coalition and the State AEFI Committee on COVID vaccination assessment among other groups.
