Presently, I am working as Head – Biotech / Medtech / Agritech startups at Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre, IIT – Kanpur. I have 14 years of experience in programme management, grant management, technology management and entrepreneurship development working at Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Biotech Consortium India Limited and Intas Biopharmaceuticals. I am undertaken my Bachelors in Biochemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad, Masters in Biotechnology with specialization in Commercialization from University of Queensland, Brisbane and PG Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. I have worked and interacted with different stakeholders of human resource development programmes – post-graduate students, PhD students, post-doctoral scholars, young faculty, head of institutions, entrepreneurs, etc. I have got the opportunity to visit more than 120 universities / institutes / biotech parks / incubators across the length and breadth of the country. Through my work, I am truly passionate about helping the stakeholders of the bioscience community.
