Mansharan Seth currently works with the William J. Clinton Foundation, the India affiliate of Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), as a Director of Programs. She is a senior leader with more than two decades of multi-country experience across the non-profit and private sectors. Her vast experience anchored in Health Systems Transformation includes Strategy Development, Financial Management, Complex Program Design and Implementation, Social Enterprise Development, and Building Innovative PPP models. Her public health experience spans a wide range of issues including sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), equitable access to comprehensive abortion care, maternal and child health, nutrition, anemia, sickle cell disease, access to safe drinking water, and building equitable oxygen access.
While she has worked across a very wide range of issues, Mansharan’s personal fulfilment is in the field of SRHR, working every day to ensure that every woman in India has equitable access and control over her own fertility and reproductive health.
Prior to joining the William J. Clinton Foundation, Mansharan led the Tata Trusts & Mars collaboration initiative to “make affordable nutrition accessible” via developing a portfolio of nutritious, clinically tested, delicious, and affordable packaged foods. She led the partnership on behalf of Tata Trusts to create access to superior nutrition for high burden communities by developing sustainable PPP social enterprise models.
Mansharan also has an extensive body of work in the field of Brand Management, Advertising Development, and Communications – working with GlaxoSmithKline for nearly a decade across various parts of the Horlicks and Sensodyne brand portfolios. Mansharan started her career in 2004, working with Procter and Gamble as a Customer Business Development Manager based in Mumbai.
A citizen of India who is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Mansharan holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from TIET Patiala (Class of 2002) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from IIM Calcutta (Class of 2004). She is an alumna of the 2023 WomenLift Health Leadership Journey.
