Alden Nouga-Ngog

Alden Nouga-Ngog has 25 years of experience in global health program development, partnerships, and technical assistance. She recently joined USAID to support family planning/sexual and reproductive health (FP/SRH) global, regional, and bilateral partnerships. She spent the past four years leading International Planned Parenthood Federation’s (IPPF’s) engagement with US partnerships and donors, including USAID and U.S. foundations. This work included capacity strengthening of IPPF’s 120+ local partner members to engage with USAID projects and procurement processes. Previously, she led Save the Children’s Global Health Program Development team, providing strategic oversight to the design of collaborative projects with innovative partners and national stakeholders to advance RMNCAHN. During her 12 years at Pathfinder, she oversaw foundation and corporate partnership engagement strategy (Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation/BMGF, LAD, Packard and Hewlett Foundations, J&J, Merck for Mothers, Vodafone) and served as Senior Advisor, providing technical leadership to integrated SRHR projects and to over a dozen multi-million dollar proposals to bi-lateral and private donors (USAID, CDC, BMGF, FCDO). With CARE, Alden oversaw a diverse portfolio of health programs in Cameroon, including work in HIV prevention and treatment (Canadian CIDA, EU, Global Fund) and community health (USDA). Alden speaks French, has lived in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Indonesia, and Zimbabwe, and has also done significant work in Ethiopia, Guatemala, Kenya, India, Moldova, Niger, Tanzania, Togo, and Uganda.
