Amarynth Sichel serves as Senior Digital Health Advisor with the Center for Innovation and Impact (CII) in USAID’s Global Health Bureau. At CII, Amarynth’s work is focused on sharpening the way that USAID and other donors invest in and partner with countries to support health system digital transformation for improved health outcomes. Prior to joining USAID, Amarynth was Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact at Simprints, a UK-based non-profit biometrics company working to improve access to essential services in low and middle-income countries. Previously, Amarynth was a Luce Scholar, seconded to Seoul Metropolitan Government’s International Relations Division, and a Gates Scholar at Cambridge University, where her research focused on affordable housing and smart cities. She has also worked domestically on government relations and public policy at the Boston-based consultancy ML Strategies. Amarynth holds an MPhil in Planning, Growth and Regeneration from Cambridge University and a BA in History from Barnard College.
