Lisa Saldanha is a Senior Nutrition Specialist with the World Bank’s Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice and is based in the Bank’s Washington, DC, office. Her primary focus has been on enhancing the impact of large-scale public health and nutrition programs on maternal and child health and nutrition, with an emphasis on community-driven services. She has promoted innovative cross-sectoral collaborations and partnerships to address the multiple determinants of malnutrition. She has worked with the World Bank Group since 2009 and has technical program experience in Ethiopia, Madagascar, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Philippines, and India, among other countries.
