Tracy Kobukindo is a two-time award-winning writer, Nurse & Public Health Specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Public Health from Clarke International University. Ms. Kobukindo has over eight years’ experience in Global Health, Development, Training and Health Systems Strengthening. In the past she worked with refugee communities, community health centers, and primary health care providers at HCII & Regional Referral Hospitals in Uganda. She is currently the Technical Coordinator (East & Southern Region) at the Community Health Academy – Last Mile Health. Ms. Kobukindo is driven by the need to create innovative sustainable health solutions at both policy and service delivery levels in Africa – she was named Top 40 Under 40. A facilitator at heart, she is crazy about Community Driven Development and impactful storytelling; she is the Chief Editor of the Nurses & Midwives blog hosted by National Health Conferences Uganda. She is a Global Health Corps Alumna, Yali Alumna, Vital Voices Women Leadership Alumna, former TEDx speaker and Johnson & Johnson OYW Scholar 2019.
Ms. Kobukindo is a Vital Voices Leadership Alumni and Global Health Corps Fellow. She founded the regionally acclaimed social entrepreneur venture “Bottle Project” which empowers the youth in her community and Country.
