Precious Mutoru: Bridging Policy and Practice in Healthcare

Over the past few years, I have led the Advocacy team in successfully influencing national policies to expand healthcare access. This includes supporting the Ministry of Health in institutionalizing self-care for health and well-being and integrating family planning services into pharmacies—a crucial step toward improving healthcare accessibility in Uganda and beyond.

I have also driven initiatives to formalize public-private partnerships, ensuring the sustainable engagement of the private sector in healthcare delivery. By bridging policy with practice, my work strengthens health systems and promotes inclusive, quality care for all.
