I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Development and Strategic Studies from Maseno University, Kenya. As a trained gender equality and gender-based violence activist, a Global Changemakers Fellow, and an Akili Dada Alumna (Class of 2019), I have dedicated my work to advancing the rights and well-being of young women and girls.
I lead Peperusha Binti, an organization committed to ensuring adolescents have access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) information, services, and products—working toward a future free from gender-based violence. Over the past seven years, I have volunteered extensively with vulnerable young women and girls, becoming one of the most recognized youth leaders in Kisumu County. My commitment has been acknowledged through the 2018 Health Champion Award of the Year by the Kisumu County Youth Department and the 2023 Women Empowering Women Awards—honors that have deepened my connection with young people who look to me as a role model.
As a health advocate, I actively raise awareness about sickle cell disease in my community and beyond. I launched Coffee for Champions, a fundraising initiative supporting sickle cell patients who cannot afford essential medications. This project has provided financial relief, increased awareness, and fostered a strong sense of community among those affected.
Beyond sickle cell advocacy, I am deeply committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health, particularly for adolescents and women. By equipping young people with accurate information and essential resources, I strive to empower them to make informed health decisions—paving the way for a healthier and more informed generation.
