Aditi Vyas is Assistant Director, Gender, Youth, and Development, based out of the ICRW Asia office. She brings over 14 years of experience in gender, adolescents, education and economic empowerment. Her areas of expertise include program design and management, qualitative research, curriculum development, review and communication.
Her current work us focused on the development of teachers’ and system’s assessment tools as part of the Life Skills Collaborative program and assessing the impact of COVID-19 policy response on informal women workers in Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) as part of the REBUILD project.
Through her work, she has undertaken proposal writing, development of data collection tools and guides, qualitative research, qualitative data analysis, analytical writing. Additionally, she has conceptualized and developed a gender integrated life-skills curriculum aimed at adolescent girls licensed by Gap Inc. She has also conducted regular trainings of trainers on gender and adolescents’ life-skills curricula as part of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) funded Plan-It Girls Program and the MacAruther funded Planning Ahead for Girls’ Empowerment and Employability (PAGE) program, – both focusing on empowerment and employability of adolescent girls in school.
Aditi earned a bachelor’s degree in History from Delhi University, a master’s degree in Modern Indian History from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and another master’s degree in History of Science, Medicine and Technology from the University of Oxford.
