I am Aiswarya, a medical doctor specializing in Community Medicine. I am originally from Kerala, India and have had the privilege to work and live in four other states of the country so far. My current professional focus is in the area of Non Communicable Diseases- particularly, the strengthening of primary health care systems in controlling common NCDs. I particularly enjoy undertaking field visits, as these visits allow me to keenly observe the implementation of programmes at the grassroot level. These experiences help me in improving the the capacity of health care workers and serve as valuable insights during my advocacy efforts at the district and state levels. During my free time, I enjoy travelling, learning new languages and blogging.
