Dr. Anna Kalbarczyk is the Assistant Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health and an Associate Scientist in the Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research focuses on gender equity, organizations and leadership, and implementation science, with a particular emphasis on improving health outcomes for women and girls. Dr. Kalbarczyk is passionate about applied learning, integrating practical, field-based experiences into her teaching and mentorship. She has led gender-focused projects in low- and middle-income countries, aiming to enhance the capacity of health systems to respond to the unique needs of women. With over 15 years of experience, she is a leader in global health education, contributing to programs that build the next generation of global health professionals. Dr. Kalbarczyk’s work bridges research and practice, ensuring that gender and health equity are central to global health strategies and interventions.
