Caren Oburu works at Health Strat as the Strategic Information Advisor, bringing over 16 years of expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (M&E) to drive evidence-based decision-making at both national and international levels.
With a background in the implementation of PEPFAR-funded initiatives, Caren has contributed to various programs addressing HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment, TB, PMTCT, GBV, DREAMS, OVC, RMNCAH, WASH, and Nutrition.
Prior to her current position, Caren served as the M&E Lead for the USAID 4BetterHealth Project. Her educational background includes an MSc in Health Information Management, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Diploma in Health Records and Information Management. Additionally, she holds the designation of a PMP® Certified Project Manager.
