Chelsea Harris is an advocate for private sector engagement in global health, which she believes is critical to the development of market-appropriate solutions and sustainable access as the donor landscape and disease burden evolve. She has over 10 years of experience in global health partnerships, advocacy, and market strategy, with a focus on infectious diseases and health system strengthening. Chelsea currently leads the Global Access Program for Roche Diagnostics across the EMEA and LATAM regions and is based in Nairobi, Kenya. Prior to Roche, Chelsea was the Marketing Director for Public Health and Global Access Programs at Cepheid. Before this, she led market and competitive insights at Gilead Sciences for the company’s HIV and COVID-19 franchises. She also worked at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in Haiti and at Global Health Strategies, consulting for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Planned Parenthood Global, among others. Chelsea holds a BA from Brown University and an MBA/MPH from the University of California, Berkeley.
