Deliana Kostova is a senior economist at the Division of Global Health Protection, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia, where she leads the Evidence and Innovation team. Her work focuses on economic evaluation and technical support for health programs and policies in lower-income countries. She guides collaborations with partners from international organizations to expand the evidence base for optimal health policy implementation and stronger health systems. Deliana received her PhD in Economics from Emory University in 2010. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
