Dr. Carolyne Agesa

Carolyne is a social scientist with over 20 years of experience in gender and GBV-related research, program design, and practice- key to fostering the centrality of gender and health equity health interventions. As a Senior Technical Advisor at Jhpiego, she provides country teams with technical assistance informed by evidence-based interventions on improving health systems’ capacity to respond to the unique needs of women and girls. She is also an Advisory member of the Women in Global Health, Kenya Chapter.

She holds a B. Arts in Sociology, a Master’s in Social Work, and a PhD in Public Health.
