Dr. Lorenta Ojo is a public health professional, telemedicine advocate, and medical expert with extensive experience in healthcare management. She currently serves as the Senior Medical Officer and Head of the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care at Namibia’s Ministry of Health and Social Services.

With a background in both public and private healthcare, she has worked in Nigeria and Namibia, demonstrating leadership in healthcare delivery and system strengthening. She mentors a group of women known as the Achievers Tribe, fostering personal and professional growth.

Dr. Ojo holds an MBBS, multiple master’s degrees in Public Health, Family Medicine, and Business Administration, and is pursuing a doctorate focused on increasing female students’ interest in STEM. She has received awards for outstanding service and research and is a member of the Golden Key Honors Association.
