Dr. Wame Dikobe is a public health expert specializing in infectious diseases (TB, HIV, and COVID-19), key and priority population programming, and health system strengthening. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Director of Circle Point Consultancy, a public health firm in Botswana, where she provides strategic guidance on policy development, program implementation, and health systems strengthening for government entities, development partners, and NGOs.

With over 15 years of experience in clinical practice, research, and program implementation, Dr. Dikobe has managed large-scale USAID/PEPFAR-funded projects and worked extensively with Botswana’s Ministry of Health and civil society organizations. She played a key role in developing policies, training materials, and interventions for key populations and served as the co-principal investigator for Botswana’s Biological and Behavioural Surveillance Surveys (BBSS 2 & 3), shaping national and regional HIV programming strategies.

Previously, she was the Country Director at FHI 360, overseeing the administrative and technical aspects of donor-funded health programs. She also has experience as a clinician and public health practitioner, leading TB/HIV programs at district and national levels.

Dr. Dikobe holds a Medical Degree (MD) and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) with a specialization in health policy and management from St. George’s University. She has served as Chairperson and Vice Chair of the Botswana HIV Clinicians Society and is a recipient of the Afya Bora Fellowship (2015) and the FHI 360 Impact Award (2016) for innovation in public health programming.
