Dr. Eileen Dunne is a PhD microbiologist and epidemiologist whose research focuses on pneumococcal vaccines, respiratory infections, and public health. She has worked at Pfizer since 2021 on the global pneumococcal vaccines team as the scientific affairs and epidemiology lead for Asia. Prior to joining Pfizer, she worked at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Melbourne, Australia (2010-2019) and the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (2019-2021).
Dr. Dunne completed a PhD in Microbiology at Boston University. She holds honorary appointments at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and Department of Paediatrics (Royal Children’s Hospital), University of Melbourne.
