I am a teacher, a primary care physician and a researcher. As an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health at St. John’s Medical College my professional responsibilities encompass training undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, along with community health workers. My role extends to research in community-based projects and coordination of outreach primary-care health programs. A solid academic foundation in public health and community development was laid during my MD course in Community Medicine. Complementing this, a postgraduate diploma in health and hospital management fine-tuned my understanding of health management Two areas of my work that I am passionate about are prevention of cardiovascular diseases and medical education. My passion towards my word is complemented by the supportive environment and opportunities provided by my institution. I am blessed with a family that supports my dedication to my work, creating a harmonious balance between my professional pursuits and personal life.
