Flaviana Paul Masegese is a digital health and ICT leader dedicated to advancing health information systems and digital transformation in healthcare. As Head of ICT and Statistics at Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute – Dar Group Hospital Branch, she leads the design, implementation, and management of ICT infrastructures to enhance healthcare efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
With over 15 years of experience, Flaviana has played a pivotal role in ICT strategy development, health information systems, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building. She previously held senior ICT roles at Muhimbili National Hospital, worked as an ICT Coordinator at Plan International, and served as a Customer Support Executive at Afsat Communications Tanzania Limited.
Flaviana holds an MSc in Health Information Management from MUHAS, where she was recognized as the Overall Best Performer, and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam. She has also earned a Women’s Leadership Program certificate from UONGOZI Institute and specialized training in eGovernment applications for hospital systems.
She is passionate about women’s leadership in digital health, believing that diverse perspectives and community-driven solutions are key to advancing equitable health systems and improving healthcare access.
