Gloria Kitur is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 12 years of experience in healthcare program management and health systems strengthening. Currently a Health Systems Strengthening Consultant, she has led impactful projects in cancer and NCD control across Kenya and East Africa, as well as HIV prevention and treatment programs funded by PEPFAR and CDC in Western Kenya.
Gloria is a University of Nairobi Capacity Building for Sustainable Development Fellow and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Systems Management at Kenya Methodist University. Her expertise spans strategic partnerships, project management, community engagement, capacity building, mentorship, and scientific writing.
An active member of the Clinical Research Society of Kenya and the Kenya STOP Cervical Cancer Committee, Gloria advocates for cancer prevention and control. She is also a registered Nutritionist, Dietitian, and Climate Change Writer.
Passionate about youth mentorship and green spaces, Gloria enjoys cycling, creating healthy meals, and promoting safe, sustainable environments in her free time.
Fun fact: Gloria loves spending time with children, and this drew her to study children’s socioemotional development in Africa.
