As CorStone’s Vice President and Country Director in India, Gracy Andrew oversees all program implementation, training, certification, assessment and operations in India. Ms. Andrew is a clinical psychologist by profession.
Before joining CorStone in 2012, Ms. Andrew was with Sangath Society, a Goal-based NGO and leader in the field of mental health, where she worked in various capacities including as head of the adolescent program and Executive Director. At CorStone she spearheaded one of the largest effectiveness trials on a resilience program ever conducted in a low- and middle-income country.
An experienced qualitative researcher, Ms. Andrew has worked as a consultant to many organizations. She is co-author of several publications in India and globally, including the national report on the Adolescent Health Needs study, Teachers Toolkit, Barefoot Counseling Manual, and other scientific papers. She also has been involved in developing various interventions and training programs for youth in the areas of mental health and adolescent health. Ms. Andrew also has contributed to training resources at the national level in India including the RKSK, and more recently for the Ayushnan Bharath program. She was also recently appointed as a member of the World Health Organization’s guidance development group for promotional programs on global adolescent mental health.
