Intissar Sarker brings over ten years of experience in family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH) as a Private Sector Service Delivery Technical Advisor in USAID’s Office of Population and Reproductive Health (PRH). In this capacity, Intissar provides leadership to the technical direction, implementation, and management of private sector projects and initiatives in the PRH portfolio. She also provides USAID Mission health offices with technical expertise and information, strategic planning guidance and management support to improve overall FP/RH programming. Prior to joining USAID, Intissar was a Family Planning Specialist at Abt Associates and spent several years as a consultant for the World Bank where she co-authored several knowledge products. Intissar holds a MSc. in Gender, Development, and Globalization from the London School of Economics and a BA in International Studies from American University.
