“Dr. Jackline Aridi is a global health systems specialist with over 20 years’ work experience in the University system. She currently serves as faculty at Strathmore University and a senior administrator at University of Notre Dame. She is an academic who is widely published in globally recognized peer review journals. She has also served as Principal Investigator on several grants. In addition to this, she mentors young upcoming faculty in global health focused research careers. She is a connector of people and believes in the power of collaboration to achieve goals.
Dr. Aridi previously worked at the Ford Family program in Human development studies and solidarity as Regional Manager in charge of research focused on East Africa. She also worked at the Earth Institute at Columbia University in New York as Regional Advisor where she managed the implementation of projects across 8 countries in East and Southern Africa. She has also consulted for the Global Alliance on Improved Nutrition (GAIN), The World Health Organization (WHO) in Switzerland, The Guttmacher Institute and The Hellen Keller Institute in New York on projects related to health systems strengthening. Dr. Aridi holds a Ph.D. in health systems management from Strathmore University, a MPA with a specialization in International health policy and management from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Administration.”
