I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at Birla Institute of Technology & Science – (BITS)- Pilani, Pilani Campus, an Institute of Eminence and renowned institution for engineering and sciences education. My journey includes obtaining a PhD from BITS, Pilani, where I focused on Indian Management Practices. With over 17 years of teaching experience at BITS, Pilani, I am dedicated to courses in Human Resource Management, Leadership, and Organizational Behavior. My research, which includes projects funded by ICSSR and involves guiding research scholars, explores diverse aspects of HRM, employee wellness, educational pedagogy, and Gen Z expectations. This work has earned me the Best Paper Awards and publications in esteemed journals. I spearhead the Program for Behavioral Skills Foundation – Personality Integration, Leadership Orientation, and Teamwork Program – (P.I.L.O.T), aimed at bridging the academia-reality gap and preparing students to be industry-ready. Additionally, I have designed leadership interventions for faculty and research scholars, ensuring comprehensive skill development within academia. Active engagement in professional associations and committees like the Academy of Management and INDAM allows me to contribute extensively to academic discourse and institutional advancement. Certified in MBTI® and Belbin Team Roles, my expertise lies in integrating cutting-edge pedagogies and fostering holistic learning environments. I am passionate about nurturing talent and driving impactful research, aspiring to significantly contribute to the progressive landscape of academia and organizational development. Through positive relationships with my students, I aim to cultivate teaching spaces that go beyond conventional boundaries. My goal is to empower students to break mental barriers, nurture social and critical skills, and ultimately guide them toward self-actualization through meaningful contributions to society.
