2023 Leadership Journey Project: Mentoring Women to Advocate for Themselves
Joy Kamunyori is a digital health and project management professional with over 15 years of experience in assessing, developing and implementing public health data systems in sub-Saharan African countries. Joy is currently a Senior Health Information Systems Advisor through contract with the Office of HIV/AIDS in the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Bureau for Global Health. Prior to joining USAID, she worked for John Snow, Inc. (JSI) and ICF in various advisory and management roles. She holds a BA in Computer Science and Economics from Vassar College, a Master of Computer Science from the University of Virginia, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
