Juliana Hagembe, MSc, MPH, PMP®, is a global health professional with 15 years of experience in health equity, capacity building, and policy development across Sub-Saharan Africa. She has led transformative initiatives at the World Federation of Hemophilia, Duke Global Health Innovation Center, Clinton Health Access Initiative, and Institute for Human Virology, focusing on expanding diagnostic and treatment access, strengthening M&E capacity, and shaping regional health policies.

A certified PMP, Juliana is skilled in strategic program management, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven healthcare improvements in resource-limited settings. She has advanced care for inherited bleeding disorders, led health policy reforms, and improved malaria diagnostics and treatment access. Her work in HIV and maternal health has enhanced service delivery and quality of care, and she has actively championed cancer awareness across Africa.

Juliana holds an MSc in Biochemistry from Northern Michigan University, an MPH from the University of Hong Kong, and a PMP certification. She was awarded the Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar award (2007–2008) and recognized as an Outstanding Graduate Student (2009).

She believes women’s leadership in global health is essential to addressing systemic inequities, driving inclusive policies, and fostering sustainable solutions.
