Karen Kangamwirai Dzuke is a dedicated Development Practitioner and business leader with over 15 years of experience in Family Planning and Adolescent and Youth Sexual Reproductive Health. As Provincial Manager for the Midlands Province at the Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council, Karen provides technical leadership and support to both the Public and Private sector and Implementing Partners complementing government efforts in the provision of integrated family planning services in underserved communities.

Karen’s expertise includes coordinating, implementing, promoting, and researching Family Planning and Adolescent and Youth Sexual Reproductive Health programs. She has contributed to the development of strategic documents, such as the Family Planning strategic plan and the Family Cost Recovery Framework. Karen is also a trainer of trainers for the Adolescent and Youth Comprehensive Sexuality Education Program.

In addition to her technical expertise, Karen serves on the International Conference on Family Planning’s subcommittees on Youth and Advocacy. She holds a Special Honors degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from Lupane State University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in English and Communications, a Masters degree in Development Studies, and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Midlands State University. Karen has also obtained several professional certificates.

Fun Fact : As a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, Karen enjoys mentoring women and girls to realize their full potential through education. She serves as a patron of the Midlands State Peer Education network.
