Katy Ashe has an impact career as a leader at the intersection of human-centered design, health, and technology. Interventions she has designed have impacted over 17 million people. She has a BS & MS in Engineering from Stanford University. Her She led research and outreach campaigns on illegal gold mining in the Peruvian Amazon, then went on to co-found and lead design as the Chief Design Office at award-winning global health organization, Noora Health, recognized as one of the “50 Most Innovative Companies in the World” by Fast Company. Katy is now the Design Direct at YLabs where she leads the design and strategy of several youth-centered digital sexual health platforms and services. Katy has been featured as one of the “30 Social Entrepreneurs Under 30” by Forbes, awarded the Echoing Green Fellowship, Y Combinator Alumni, and Fast Forward Accelerator for Tech Nonprofits.
