Kelly Young is a dedicated Project Director with 18 years of experience driving global health initiatives. Currently serving as the Associate Director for Program, Planning & Evaluation at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at UCSF, Kelly supports oversight of an NIH Cancer Center award.
Kelly recently transitioned from serving 8 years as the Deputy Director for Global Strategic Information team at the Institute for Global Health Sciences at UCSF. Known for her leadership, program management, financial management and strategic planning capabilities, she has successfully managed projects with U.S. funders such as the CDC and USAID.
Previously, Kelly held key leadership roles at the Society for Family & Health in Zambia and Population Services International, where she demonstrated expertise in program monitoring and stakeholder engagement. Kelly excels in building partnerships and fostering effective communication in diverse environments. Kelly holds a Master’s in Sustainable International Development and a Bachelor’s in International Finance Management. Her passion for global health drives her commitment to impactful, sustainable solutions.
