Kyla Hayford is an epidemiologist and vaccinologist focused the development and evaluation of vaccines. She currently works on the of pneumococcal vaccines at Pfizer including studies to evaluate vaccine impact in adults and children. She is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Previously she worked with governments in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia to identify immunity gaps to measles, rubella and tetanus using serological surveys and address the gaps with targeted immunization strategies.
