Dr. Lesley Park is Senior Research Scientist and Lecturer in the Stanford University Department of Epidemiology & Population Health. She received her MPH and PhD in Epidemiology from the Yale School of Public Health. She is Executive Director of the Veterans Aging Cohort Study (VACS) consortium, an international collaboration of methodologists, clinicians, and trainees who utilize the rich and valuable data from the US Veterans Health Administration to do impactful research. With over a decade of experience in HIV and cancer research and recognition for contributions to this community, she has been selected as the new chair of the Scientific Secretariat of the International Workshop on HIV and Hepatitis Observational Databases (IWHOD). Dr. Park is also co-founding director of the Stanford Advancing Health Equity and Diversity (AHEaD) summer research program for college students from underrepresented and historically excluded groups in the health sciences. She is proud to be an educator, teaching in the classroom or mentoring trainees.
