Lilian is a dedicated Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) expert with over 13 years of experience designing and implementing programs that strengthen health systems and promote gender-responsive policies across Kenya and sub-Saharan Africa. She has worked with leading international health organizations, including MSI Reproductive Choices, Plan International, and IPPF, focusing on family planning, abortion care, sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), child marriage, FGM, comprehensive sexuality education (CSE), and menstrual health management.

She currently serves as the Deputy Director-Technical for the FCDO-funded WISH2 project at IPPF Africa Region, overseeing SRHR programs in Burundi, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, and Zambia. She previously founded and led the Change for Girls Initiative in Kenya and has held key advisory and leadership roles in reproductive health organizations. She holds a Master’s in Sexual & Reproductive Health Policy and Programming from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, a Master’s in Health Systems Management (ongoing), and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Kenya Methodist University.
