Experience Linda is a physician, executive coach and leadership consultant. She began coaching while working at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and has coached for more than 15 years. Linda’s career with the VA gave her leadership experience culminating with her serving as the Chief of Staff at a 500 bed medical facility. This experience gave her insight to the challenges of leading a diverse organization. She has worked with leaders to facilitate their setting goals for their professional and personal growth and developing a path to achieving those goals.
Adjunct Staff
Current Role Linda is an adjunct staff member for the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina, and has a private practice focused on leadership development with an emphasis on leadership/executive coaching. In 2011 Linda founded L. J. Morris Consulting, LLC, where she is principal.
Educational Background Linda earned a B.S. in Biology from Tuskegee University. She received her M.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo and did her internal medicine residency with the Georgetown –VA program in Washington, D.C. Her coach’s training was at the Coaches Training Institute and she is certified by the International Coach Federation.
Professional Affiliations Linda is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Institute of Coaching.
