Dr Madhur Gupta is the Technical Officer- Pharmaceuticals at the WHO India Country Office and provides senior technical leadership and strategic policy advice to improve access to quality medicines and health products. In her role, she has provided technical support for strengthening regulatory capacity of the Indian National Regulatory Authority at central and state levels. She is an international senior expert with rich international and national experience on pharmaceuticals and access to health products, local production, and regulatory policy. Having been engaged as an expert for regional/global initiatives on medical products, she holds a rich professional experience of 25 years. She has a Doctorate (DM) in Clinical Pharmacology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and MD in Pharmacology from LHMC, Delhi and is passionate about providing pivotal policy support for strengthening India’s role in Global Health.
