Sandra Musabwasoni is a midwife and a nurse educator from University of Rwanda where she has worked for more than 10yrs.. She started off her career as a clinical instructor, continued on as a tutorial assistant and now an assistant lecturer. She leads different committees including quality assurance at the department and school in the University of Rwanda She is also part of research committee and community outreach program at the University
She has a master of sciences in Nursing with a Leadership and Education specialty. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of Rwanda.
On matters of women leadership, she is involved in different governmental leadership activities and is very much excited to be exposed to this women’s leadership. She sees her role as a midwife and interest in women’s health will be enhanced. She hopes to further promote women’s health agenda and cascade her learnings from this program widely as a nurse educator.
Fun fact: Sandra is not a professional comedian but she likes to make people laugh
