Maureen Muthinzi is a public affairs and partnerships professional dedicated to strengthening healthcare systems through policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic partnerships. With over 10 years of experience, she has worked extensively in women’s health, sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), and community development.

As Stakeholder Engagement Lead at Penda Health, Maureen has played a key role in shaping healthcare policies, contributing to the SHA, Digital Health Bill, and Primary Care Networks. Previously, she worked with Physicians for Human Rights in conflict zones in Kenya and the DRC, advocating for survivors of sexual violence and contributing to Constitutional Petition No. 122 on women’s rights. She has also supported women’s political participation at the Education Center for Women in Democracy and worked with Lea Toto, assisting HIV/AIDS-affected children and caregivers.

Maureen holds a Master’s in Strategic Management, a degree in Community Development, and a Higher Diploma in Human Resources. She is passionate about women’s leadership in global health, believing it fosters equity, resilience, and sustainable change.
