Dr. Mehr Manzoor is the Principal Strategist for Women’s Employment Portfolio and a Presidential Management Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Her award-winning doctoral research at Tulane University examined gender inequality regimes within global health organizations, focusing on how global health leaders can move from intention to meaningful action, earning her the Delta Omega Society’s Best Dissertation Award. Mehr has received numerous accolades for her work on women’s leadership in global health, including Tulane University’s Changemaker Catalyst Awards. As the founder of BeyondParity, she leads transformative leadership programs. Mehr’s expertise is further highlighted in her role as the lead author of the WHO report, “Delivered by Women, Led by Men,” which has been cited over 800 times, and as the co-editor of the book, “Women in Global Health Leadership: Power & Transformation”. She holds a PhD in Health Policy and Management from Tulane University, supported by a Fulbright Scholarship, an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Pakistan.
