Dr. Muriel Mac-Seing is an Assistant Professor in Global Health at the School of Public Health of the Université de Montréal. Her research areas focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights and inclusive climate action for people with disabilities and population groups living in situations of vulnerability. Her work draws upon the critical lens of intersectionality, disability, health equity, and structural determinants of health (including governance, leadership, and policy) to recenter the rights and realities of people with disabilities in global and public health research and programming. Dr. Mac-Seing is one of the co-founding members of the Women in Global Health Canada Chapter. She was named among the Canadian Women Leaders in Global Health (2018, 2020) and co-led the first list of Francophone Women Leaders in Global Health.
