Dr Pant Pai is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at McGill University and a Senior Scientist at the MUHC Research Institute, Montreal, Canada.
She is a global health expert in rapid point-of-care diagnostics, digital health, and implementation science in HIV/ Sexually transmitted blood borne infections and broadly in sexual and reproductive health. Her research program is based out of Canada, India, and South Africa. She develops innovations and synergizes rapid diagnostics with digital health, machine learning, and analytics to impact clinical care and service delivery in communities. Her Innovations aim to generate clinical, public health, and social impact. Her innovative work has been covered by major international/national media outlets. She has won many research excellence and innovation awards. She is a Member of the Royal Society of Canada and has been featured twice in the list of Canadian women leaders in Global Health (2018, 2020).
