Dr Njeri Nyamu is a medical doctor and public health expert with over 15yrs demonstrated experience, providing technical leadership and strategic management of health programs. She possesses in depth knowledge of the public and private healthcare system and policies in East Africa region. She has extensive experience in health systems strengthening initiatives at the national and sub-national levels leading to improvements in program management, service quality and sustainability of interventions. Currently, she holds the position of Regional Program Manager in a family planning and adolescent and youth sexual reproductive health program, The Challenge Initiative (TCI)-East Africa. She provides technical leadership and managerial oversight towards the goal of strengthening the public health system to deliver innovative, impactful, cost effective and sustainable reproductive health program initiatives in urban poor settings. A passionate advocate for reproductive health rights and programs addressing sociocultural-environmental factors that influence reproductive health outcomes.
