My dream is, equality is not just a goal, but a reality for all. Since childhood I want to work for reducing inequalities and discrimination that women face in various spheres of life. I spend my childhood in rural India and observed socio construct – underlying social norms, complexities of gender inequality and discrimination. When I moved to urban areas I found women are facing different set of challenges due discriminatory practices. Realization of the systemic barriers and biases that perpetuate gender disparities motivated me to pursue my career in social develop field. Motivated by a desire to bring meaningful change, even a very small step, I have actively engaged in initiatives aimed at dismantling these barriers. I have strong belief in the inherent value and potential of every individual. I have more than 15 years of experience in multidisciplinary domains such as public health, skill development, women empowerment where I tried to made impact on people’s lives by actualizing their capacities.
