Dr. Priya Karna is the Technical Officer for Reproductive Health at the WHO Country Office for India. She is a medical doctor from Nepal, trained as a public health specialist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore-USA. At WHO she leads the SAMARTH initiative – Sustain Accelerate Mainstream Access to Reproductive Health, a joint effort with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. She has nearly 10 years of experience in the SRHR field including programs and policies in the United States, Nepal India and the 11 Member States of the WHO South-East Asia Region.
