Ms. Priyamboda Mohanty, from Puri, Odisha, emerged as a leader in public health, influenced by her upbringing in a progressive joint family. Observing her mother’s adept management skills, she learned the essence of leadership, time management, and teamwork. Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s legacy, she dedicated her career to serving People Living with HIV and AIDS. With 19 years of experience, including 14 years exclusively in GFATM Grants, she navigated diverse roles from grassroots to national and Asia Pacific levels. Currently serving as State Director at SAATHII organization, she oversees projects like the Elimination of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV and facilitating the HIV, TB, STI, and Hepatitis testing services in the prison setup, showcasing her expertise in program management. She has completed her Post Graduate in Sociology. Ms. Mohanty’s journey reflects resilience, compassion, and a relentless commitment to societal well-being, making her a beacon of change in the public health sector.
