Ruth is a public health professional with over 20 years’ experience in Program Management and Partnership. She has a strong record of planning and executing ambitious initiatives in both public and non-public sectors, providing overall management and leadership in the implementation of integrated health programs. She has accumulated knowledge and networks that have helped drive innovative approaches, advocacy initiatives, and strategic engagements. she steered the digitization of community health systems a concept that was taken up by the government of Kenya and rolled out in the counties. She also initiated the first implementing partner co financing mechanism with government for community health. Ruth is a member of several global movements and is currently the Co- chair of the Women in Global Health chapter development steering committee.
