Shalini Verma is a Monitoring and Evaluation Professional, working in the field of women and child health, for the last two decades. Her current affiliation is with the United Nations Development Programme.
She has been awarded several scholarships and a Gold Medal for her academic performance and earning a PhD in Population Studies was the beginning of her journey.
Then onwards, joining the Development Sector with leading international NGOs, executing over 50 research studies and monitoring many large-scale programmes, have been a fulfilling experience for Shalini. In the last few years, she has enjoyed blending the methodical monitoring and evaluation processes in rolling out cutting-edge, real-time programmes. She takes pride in accomplishing a happy and healthy family life and striking an adequate balance between home and work. A wholesome partnership with her husband, love from her daughters and serving her parents to her best, are some of her most cherished achievements.
