Shannon Prudhomme, MPH, is a global health professional with a commitment to supporting the strengthening of local institutions and partnering with local communities to achieve development outcomes. She has experience in the areas of women’s health, private sector engagement, and livelihoods. She is currently the Director of New Business Development at Water For People, leveraging her partnerships, strategy, and blended finance experience to contribute to the organization’s global impact goals. Prior to this role, she was the Senior Technical Advisor for Partnerships under the USAID-funded MOMENTUM Integrated Resilience Project, where she supported country teams in developing a multi-sector partnerships strategy and operationalizing localization strategies.
Shannon has over 15 years of experience that has allowed her to cross-pollinate lessons learned from her international and domestic experience working with health, humanitarian relief, and community development organizations, including Corus International, CARE International, FHI 360, Project HOPE, Africare Zimbabwe, Botswana Family Welfare Association, Uganda Village Project, and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Shannon holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan; Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Journalism (minor in Biology) from Xavier University of Louisiana; and graduate-level certificates in Impact Investing & Social Enterprise Management from Middlebury Institute and in Strategic Sustainable Development from Blekinge Institute of Technology.
